First off, the store itself is super cute - with adorable merchandise and ice cream! Yes, that frozen delicious treat!!
BUT, the main reason we went is that I heard there was a nighttime corn maze…. the PERFECT thing to bring my boys and their friends to (ages 16-21) after spending a fortune at some candy store earlier. Well, lemme tell ya: it was aMAZing! And fun. And terrifying. And filled with surprises. We laughed and ran and maybe cried a little and shoved one another over in order to not be the last of our group so that the chainsaw guy wouldn’t get us.
WE HAD A BLAST!!
I live just 10 minutes from here and had never been before, but you can bet I will be back!
omg! This is THE LARGEST MAZE we’ve been to in the twin cities metro area! We’ve spent at least 1 hr and met other people walking around after 1hr. So be prepared to spend lots of time here. And also stay together as a family otherwise I don’t know how to regroup afterwards, and if you’re tired, take emergency exit. We saw 2 emergency exit, took the 2nd one after 1hr in maze…
Should have read online description “For the 2023 season we have created a corn maze that is bigger and better than last year's maze. It is approximately 15+ acres in size and has two parts. Part 1 takes approximately 45-60 minutes to complete.
Those wanting a little extra challenge can also do the longer version (pt. 2) which will take an extra 30+ minutes.”…
Great maple syrup - we buy it by the gallon. Their ice cream is fantastic, and the baked goods are great too. They start gearing up for Halloween in August with a corn maze and outdoor games for the kids. I would highly recommend this place.
The experience was very nice! We stopped in on our way to Taylor's Fall, MN. We met the owners and it was a pleasure to speak to them. They gave us a history of the farm and told us about a variety of merchandise in the gift shop.
Everyone around looked like they were enjoying themselves. We felt as welcome as anyone else. The maze is huge 😮 We just didn't have enough time to get through it all, so please have enough time to spend if you do visit.
I tasted the Apple Crisp ice cream and you won't be disappointed at all. Thumbs up👍
Now, for the good part. We must talk about race relations because we don't all experience the same, but I feel like some people overly exaggerate or outright lie about their experiences.
I'm a Black woman and I never felt uneasy or uncomfortable entering the farm. I saw the owners sitting out front and they were welcoming, and our exchange was very casual and normal. They thanked us for stopping by. The staff were all pleasant. I would recommend a visit for a pleasant experience.
The homemade ice cream and waffle cones were delicious. They also had homemade bakery goods. They even had homemade maple syrup. Everything was delicious. The staff were very friendly. I will definitely go here again.
