Had one of the most surprisingly fun and memorable days of my life here. The sculptures are truly unique, thought-provoking, and beautiful. It’s easy to spend a full day here, walking sculpture to sculpture. A lot of it is interactive, and there’s a lot to see. Staff are very friendly and there’s a welcoming atmosphere that permeates the grounds, info desk, and gift shop. Well worth a trip from the Twin Cities area if you’re into art. Unforgettable stuff!
We have driven past Franconia Sculpture Park so many times and finally decided to go for their Franc 'N' Stein Halloween & Oktoberfest Celebration. We loved how interactive the park is and the sculptures were all so amazing! We will definitely be going back.
Massive sculpture garden (50 acres) Odd sculptures, unlike anything I have ever seen. Free admission, donations accepted. Pet friendly to walk the grounds.
Definitely an interesting place to check out if you have an hour or two.
They do have an indoor common area with a little shop and restrooms.
Water fountain and bottle refiller is still unavailable due to covid..
We loved it! Plenty of parking. There is a visitor's center with restrooms and a little museum. The employees there were quite welcoming and helpful as we rented one of their golf carts. The Park is quite large, so give yourself plenty of time to walk around and check everything out. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, and you may want some bug spray. There is so much to look at, and it's all set in a beautiful place surrounded by nature. We spent a little over an hour there, but keep in mind that we were traveling by golf cart, not on foot. We definitely didn't see everything, and we're looking forward to returning in the future!
This is such a fun place to visit, and there always seems to be something new to see here.
It's a great place to be outdoors and walk around the trails. You can see some truly unique art pieces all around, and there are signs by them that will tell you about the artist and the sculptures as well.
If you are like me and bring a camera around with you, or even if you just shoot photos with your phone...you will have plenty of subject matter to photograph while you are here.
