Almelund Threshing Show

A whole lot to do and see, very educational and historical, largest flee market I have been to! Food is also very good

This is the most wholesome fun you could ever have! My husband and I had such a great day this past Saturday at the Almelund threshing show. We explored the old buildings- courthouse, schoolhouse, blacksmith, barber shop, cabin, lumber mill and many more. There are lots of activities like washing clothes, sawing, making a walking stick, etc. We watched the tractor parade that lasted at least an hour and a half. We also had great fun watching the polka band and browsing at least 2 miles of flea market. We also ate hamburgers, hot dogs, pork chop on a stick, corn on the cob, pecan pie alamode, and a malt.

Tractor parade was nice at the show today. Lots of old equipment and craftsman giving demos. Disappointed no thrashing going on. It seemed nine could figure out how to install the belts on the threshing machine. Food was good.
