Dr. Holly Langer has the best bedside manner! She made me feel very comfortable right away by introducing herself with a firm hand shake. She explained every step of the procedure in detail, and answered all my questions satisfactorily, (and believe me, I had a lot). She's friendly, confident, and knowledgeable to boot! If you're looking for a new optometrist or just need one, try Dr. Holly at the Apple Valley Walmart vision center.
UPDATE: Walmart was able to offer a resolution to my complaint to remedy my experience I encountered. Luda the store manager was very friendly and offered a sincere apology for what happened and said steps were made to make sure this doesn’t happen again. This has renewed my trust in Walmart to put the customer first. I have changed my review from 1 star to 4 now... Review prior to Walmart addressing complaint: Buyer beware... Walmart Vision Center in Apple Valley, MN is a complete joke! I ordered glasses and lenses from this location 1 week ago... Came back today with the service rep asking if I had the frames... Being my order was assumed on my part to have been purchased new and needed to be ordered I asked why would I have them if they were being shipped new I stated. The rep asked me to wait a minute. Putting 2 and 2 together after being there yesterday when they said my glasses were ready and weren't as someone put the shelf demo glasses in my waiting on purchased tray. The rep started to put my lenses in the demo unit which I was originally never told or sold. When I buy something I don't expect to be swindled by someone trying to slip in a used pair of glasses that have been tried on by 1000's of people who were twisting and bending the frames. This is a complete joke. If Walmart is doing this to all customers who are purchasing frames this needs to be called out. If Walmart is keeping the frames nice and pretty on their shelf's at their clients expense of getting the cheap used demo ones and not telling the customers this is an critical issue. I will never shop at a Walmart Vision Center again!! Correct your employees and very poor procedures!!! So frustrated at the time and money I wasted at this place. I asked for a refund of the glasses for how frustrated I was regarding this. I'm thinking of returning my contacts as well and taking my business elsewhere as this is swindling your customers hard earned money. A very upset customer...
