City of Inver Grove Heights: Police Department

I came here to drop off a solicitation permit application at around 10:30 AM, and I was emailed confirmation of my solicitors permit within a few hours of dropping off my application. Never before have I gotten my permit this fast from a city. Thoroughly impressed

Great City. When I have called the PD they have responded quickly. Weather is a drunk driver, accident, and emotionally disturbed child in my yard. Snow removal better than most if not all the cities my co-workers live in (even though they seem to scrape my boulevard every year). In regards to the police report mailing. Few mail reports (none that I know of) to people.

The only complain is the horrible pot holes and slow upgrades of the road.

Pulled over as a concerned officer. Officer ran my plates and noticed I am not from this city. Drove through a few neighborhoods kinda lost trying to get back home to the house I am in the process of purchasing from someone I know. Due to recent concerns in the neighborhood, I was questioned as to why I am in the city. After explaining the above situation, I was professionally questioned for a few other things before being let go. The officer was very understanding and receptive of my responses and handled the situation professionally and carefully. Thank you for the professionalism in the interaction with the patrol officer.
