They have a brand new overlook. A park with various places for a picnic. There's a lower quarry that overlooks the river and hiking / biking trails.
Stop at the tower and look inside. -

(August 13, 2022, 11:02 am)Amazing view! In Red Wing? This is a place you must stop at!!! The view is just breathtaking and this would be a great place to watch the sunset!!! I attached a lot of photos because I want people to see the great view! I just can’t imagine what a sunset would look like!

(February 9, 2022, 10:31 am)Beautiful spot with a stunning view of Red Wing and plenty of quiet areas to relax and picnic. Lovely winding drive to the top which is especially nice when the fall colors are peaking. I try to get there at least two or three times a year.
