Lake Byllesby Goodhue County Park

Fantastic family friendly camp ground. Looking forward to more tent campsites to be available that give a more rustic feel. Great parks for kids, plenty of trails and walking paths, and fantastic and friendly staff!

Great lakeside park with fishing docks, boat docks and launches. Nice sized pavilion along with several picnic tables and others around the park. Paved bike and hiking trail into Cannon Falls and to the park on the Dakota side.

We had such a great time touring all of the lake. The campground beach, the lake homes, the cliffs. The weather was perfect. I can't wait to go again and camp there in September!

July 2023 HUGE algae bloom 🫤 but that didn't stop us from having a wonderful time in the kayaks. The park is clean with plenty of trailer parking. Several docks for a boat or fishing. I liked that there was a satellite bathroom (which was clean and appeared to be maintained) right at the boat launch for that last minute stop instead of having to walk over to the picnic area.

Just a very special lake area. Spectacular campground, very busy most weekends especially but can be busy mid week also. Lake is very nice but will turn green on the latter summer months. Lots of paths and areas to get to and adventure to with your family and pets. Very nice park area and boat launch.
