Welch Village Ski & Snowboard Area

This is home for me.
Love everything about this place.
its like Paul Bunyan took a band saw and cut 350 Vertical Feet of a Mountain and placed it next to the Cannon River. Love that there is something close to home that offers some steeps.

Great staff... Ski patrol keeps it safe. The addition of the new quad chair lift is awesome. Terrain is amazing for the Midwest!

Went here for my sister's birthday and had a great time! Welch has plenty of more difficult runs with good variety, and for our first time here we had a blast! Staff was also friendly and helpful. We had a little hiccup with rental equipment, and I appreciate the employees who helped us easily resolve the issue. Only giving 4 stars vs 5 because there are ZERO PERIOD PRODUCTS anywhere! Had a little surprise from aunt flow and ended up having to ask someone at the ticket window if she had one... Would have been much more comfortable if supplies were available to purchase in the bathroom or at the ski shop.

Good terrain compared to other twin cities area ski resorts. Snowmaking and grooming are also modern and well done. Family owned and going strong. Good place to bring your family. My daughter just had a great lesson there. Come down to welch and ski with us!

Not only is Welch Village Ski Area the best skiing in the Twin Cities during the Winter, it is a fantastic place to host your wedding/event in the off season. The Zotalis' were extremely easy to deal with and went above and beyond to ensure the event we hosted there was a success.
