Alliance is a great treatment. After I completed the program, they help me with housing. I have my own apartment. Thank you
I finished the Sunday group sessions today. I really enjoyed the groups. John Acosta, the counselor, did a great job with counseling and facilitating. He really adapts well to all personalities and personal situations. They had a few changes in staff before John took over and that was a bit bumpy but overall I had a great experience with this organization. Staff members were all quick to help with when needed - including the owner, Yussaf. I would highly recommend this place. I had a great experience and enjoyed the group sessions! Thumbs up. :)
The staff at Alliance Wellness Center is incredible. The founder, Yussuf, is very flexible and empathetic to patients. They are one of the only, if not the only, treatment centers in the metro that offer a full day Sunday program. This was perfect for my schedule with my obligations as a parent and also my employer. If you go into the program with a positive attitude and seek to gain something from your experience, you'll complete it as a better person and feeling better about yourself.
My experience here was a great one. I have been to other treatment facilities, AA, and out patient help centers. This one was by far my best experience to date. The director of this program was nothing but helpful from the first time I reached out to him. The councilor was empathetic versus sympathetic and a great listener. This place felt like no other place I have ever been to before. The atmosphere was a intimate yet open place of peace. I felt comfortable right away. The fact that they do not make you introduce yourself as an addict was one of my favorite things about it. Instead of the usual "My name is ____, and I'm an alcoholic"... you introduce yourself and *the reason you are there*. I would recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with addiction and does not want to be shamed for it. Very informative group with intent of helping you. Alliance Wellness and the people in this facility changed my life.
