Ed was very professional and a great technician. He explained things perfectly. I was pretty nervous about how to use it, and he made me feel very comfortable. As far as the system itself, it works fine. Still don't understand when you turn off the ignition, you have to wait two minutes and test again. Hope the DMV will get rid of that one. It's not useful to anyone. Besides that, great experience with Smart Start in Durham.

Ed was so helpful! I’d used another location to have the installation done. I did not receive the training that Ed was happy to provide. Wish I’d driven to Durham initially it would have saved me weeks of misery.

My second time using this location. Ed is very knowledgeable and quick. I had a issue with violating with hand sanitizer when the unit was first installed . I have a 0 tolerance setting. The violation was my fault. Ed tried to help me in everyway he could. Never had an issue with they're devices. Great customer service.

Excellent service and very professional. i opt'd for a voluntary install to be safe on weekend evenings and everything was flawless for about two months. i received a software update and that caused some finicky behavior (wouldnt register use causing a seemingly infinite loop of retesting every 30seconds). the staff were very knowledgable and friendly - i had the device removed until the Smart Start software engineers fix their patching issues, at which time i will have the device reinstalled.
