My son was not on grade level with reading and after a year of private tutoring from a Groves Academy teacher, I decided to research other options. He was advancing with his tutoring, but not at a pace we were hoping for. I came across LearningRx in my research and my husband has a friend from church recommend it, as it has helped his daughter. I decided it was meant to be and here we are. It is not an easy program, but my son worked so hard & in exchange he has gained so much ground in his reading abilities. He went from 1st grade beginner reading level to 2nd grade by the end of the program (7 months). This is based on his testing through his school not LearningRx. He is currently in 2nd grade, so to be on grade level and still have 3 months of school left was amazing! LearningRx is a non-traditional approach to helping kids learn. I still can’t quite get my head around it, but it seems to me to train the brain to learn more easily & to remember what you have learned. It seems simple, but it works. The staff there is very helpful & nice. I’m a naturally friendly person, so I was grateful for the warm environment, since my son was there 3 times a week. Tutoring programs vary based on your child’s needs and then they are assigned a set tutor. The assigned tutor was a very good fit for my son’s personality & it was explained to me that this was deliberate. Personal connection helps the learning process. If you have tried traditional reading approaches with your child and they don’t seem to be advancing at the pace you would like or working at all, give a non-traditional approach a try like LearningRx. It made all the difference with my son.

first place my kids beside school to enhance his ADHD. There is nothing to complaint about school. good school, good service, good trainer. For a long run with ADHD kid I have to move him to ADHD school. He may need fully support at school until he can stand by himself without any helps. will recommend this school to anyone.

Our daughter gained confidence, skills, speed and has improved immensely. Great team at Learning Rx. Her coach was patient and thorough. She was always greeted with a smile and everyone there seemed to know her name. She felt comfortable and welcomed. Would highly recommend.

Very impressed with the outcome. My son struggled completing school work in a timely manner and he read very slowly. Academically, he is very bright and successfully completed his work, it just took at least twice as long as his classmates. He completed the program (his trainer was awesome!) and he's a different kid. He's on the A honor roll and completes his work in a very reasonable time. He's gained a ton of confidence and reading is no longer a struggle. Definitely worth the investment of time and money. So happy with the outcome.
