Elm Creek Park Reserve - Pierre Bottineau House

Great place to go xc skiing. You have the option of natural and man-made trails. There is also a classic exclusive section.

The snow tubing slide was super fun. The kids liked it a lot. At the bottom of the hill, you ride a conveyer belt "Magic carpet" up to the top. The slide is about 10 stories high and several wavy hills along the way. There are about 10 paths to chose from, with a mound in-between the rows, so you stay going straight.

I was first came here for cross country ski. The staff are very polite and helpful as I didn't have any experience. The trail was very hard for me but I really enjoyed with my friends. The view was very nice and beautiful. I think I would come again to have fun before I leave this country.

We went as a 3 generation family and had an awesome time. Chalet with fireplace, cafeteria and super nice staff. Perfect Winter wonderland! Thank you 😊

The house is beautifully restored, it was moved here from its original location. There is a informational and historic marker on site. The building is open during special hours with volunteer help. You can check with Three Rivers Park District for availability.
