Came here to buy a used vehicle I could trust. A friend recommended a car they were selling and I was very pleased working with Jerry. He got me in and out very quickly and back on the road. Very straightforward buying process. Would recommend to friends and family.
My sister purchased a very nice 2017 Cherokee from this little dealership not too long ago. I went with her and I was definitely surprised at the high level of professionalism from these guys. They've been in business for a while and we both loved how they provided all the details of the vehicle history and its condition. It has a rebuilt title (I learned a lot about those) and the quality is solid considering a 40% discount on the price. And the "form of payment in hand" policy makes perfect sense - it cuts out non-serious inquiries and potential car theft.
I bought a subaru legacy from this place. It was everything I expected even more. I got a great price, and was a joy doing business with Jerry. They require you to be a serious buyer, so I did have to bring a check with to test drive the vehicle, however the vehicle was well worth it. I highly recommend this place, and I would return and do business with them again!
After reading the reviews I can’t help but wonder - are people just being a bit overdramatic? Truth is a lot of folks don’t do their due diligence/don’t research before making a large purchase like a vehicle. This place sells ‘prior salvage’ vehicles. You probably wanted to purchase one of their vehicles because it’s at discount - you now know why. You should not be surprised if that’s not what you’re looking for. I am from out of state and when I purchased a car through them - they worked with me on the phone and via email. I had no issues and they were transparent/informative in disclosing the title status and all else. It’s all in the paperwork - that is IF you read it as people should. Again, don’t blame a business for your lack of incompetence after full disclosure.
Okay, here's the scoop with this place. They are a smaller establishment that offers several salvage rebuild vehicles for low prices. Do they only let extremely serious buyers test drive vehicles? Yes. You can prove that you're a serious buyer by showing proof you are approved for financing or bringing a cashier's check ready to buy the vehicle. I saw a very nice Honda Odyssey on their site for a great price and spoke to Jerry who was very upfront and honest that it was a salvage rebuild. He also was up front about their policy around test drives. I did not have to give them a check in order to test drive just bring one to show that I was highly interested and capable of purchasing. Jerry was kind enough to see me 9 pm at night because I had to drive from out of state which never would have worked with a typical dealership. The Honda Odyssey was in immaculate condition and Jerry said it had been previously involved in a side swipe collision hence the salvage rebuild title. They had repaired it to almost new condition and the car has been running perfectly for over a month now. The only thing we encountered after the purchase was that the windshield fluid tubes needed to be cleaned out to work properly. Bottom line: We paid $17000 for a beautiful Honda Odyssey that would have been $25,000 at another dealership. We also had no issues with titling or car insurance. If you are looking for a great car deal then don't be afraid to go to Direct Auto Sales! Just make sure you realize they're not a typical dealership and only accept serious buyers by appointment. Also, if you decide not to purchase a vehicle, cashier checks can always be redeposited into your bank account with no issue.
