It’s an amazing place to find virtually any item of interest for everyone. I’ve purchased dozens of items from small electronic components and collectibles to automobiles and industrial machines. Some auctioneers are very accommodating with pickup times and shipping, while other are extremely strict and don’t ship anything. You need to pay attention the rules for each auction house.
K-Bid themselves are very helpful and are always willing to help a customer. There my go to location in the region.
K-Bid is a well-organized venue that allows many sellers to conduct auctions for a wide variety of goods from sources including personal, estate, business, industrial and local government. The website is very good and allows items of interest to be place on a personal Watch List and organized in their Customer Dashboard.
Over the last two years I have bid on hundreds of lots in dozens of auctions, successfully won many, paid for them online without a hitch, and easily scheduled pickup times when that was required.
In my experience the vendors selling on K-Bid have been personable experienced professionals that go out of their way to satisfy their auction winners. The quality of the photos and descriptions can vary, but the best provide examples for everyone to learn and improve.
I look forward to seeing K-Bid get even better and placing more winning bids in the future.

K-BID provides an easy way to connect buyers and sellers. However, the format does not remove the caveat of 'buyer beware'.
There is a broad range of online marketing styles allowed that vary from WYSIWYG to blurry photographs and limited descriptions that omit such details as size (measurements) and essential facts (object had been stored in a damp, musty basement for years). There are sellers that stick paper tags onto the perfectly aged patina of a cherished metal object for which removing the glue requires loss of the patina. Sellers have posted photographs of grouped items only to offer a lame excuse to the buyer who finds that some of the items in the group purchased are now missing - and refuses to issue a refund.
Bidding remains similar to a live in-person auction as last minute bidding wars can make the outcome unpredictable. Bidding wars can be snarky, too, with bidders adding to their bids in tiny fractions of a dollar, from 0.01 to 0.99.
Picking up items vary from easy to nearly Mission Impossible, and knowing what to expect before bidding is dependent upon the auctioneer's description. Sometimes the obstacles aren't apparent until the buyer is on site to pick up their items and then must navigate a maze of rooms through narrow hallways or find parking in a heavily trafficked city center. Visiting the site before bidding, viewing the items in person, and calling the auctioneer for each sale are the best ways to determine if it is a sale you will want to win.
There remains much room for improvements in the interface of K-BID, however use of this site by an educated and informed buyer can be worthwhile.
K-Bid is a great site. I've made purchases on it quite a few times. Some vendors are better than others, though, and you're buying from the vendors not K-Bid itself. I did have one purchase for about $300 that went badly. So I do recommend choosing vendors carefully!
