(May 26, 2020, 1:48 pm)A neighborhood gem - pre- and in the midst of COVID-19! Our family is looking forward to the day when we can browse and shop in person again rather than online. It's a spacious and welcoming bookstore with lots of natural sunlight and tons of spots to sit and leisurely look at their books, plus they have the best children's room in town! We are loving the fact that we can still get some great books as we sit this pandemic out. We appreciate the thoughtfulness of the proprietress, Meg, in making it the safest experience during a trying time for our local businesses. We've bought used books and new books, too, so...no matter what you're looking for, the folks at The Irreverent Bookworm can order it for you - the online experience, by the way, is super easy! And if shopping online for books isn't your thing right now, there is always the option to purchase gift certificates to use later.
(May 15, 2020, 9:46 pm)I love supporting local bookstores! Meg (and staff!) is friendly, kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I recently requested a new but obscure book and she found it quite quickly and shipped it to me! No bookstore can have everything that everybody wants, but I bet Meg can find it!
