“Got a COVID vaccine here, and let me tell you what happened. I walk in and was helped right away. Very clear instructions, smooth process. Friendly and competent staff. As I’m waiting the 15 minutes you’re supposed to wait post shot, an older gentlemen started kind of sliding sideways off his chair. Still conscious and everything, but sliding. I looked around and didn’t see the person who came with him, so I asked if I could touch his shoulder to help him sit up. I did so, but he started sliding again. Immediately the young pharm tech came out and started talking with the guy and gently helped him to stay upright. The other staff and another shopper started looking for the lady he came in with. When the lady returned, everybody calmly went back to what they were doing. I really hope that management at this site realize how great Danny the pharm tech, the skillful staff member who administered my shot, and the friendly lady at the cash register are. Shoutout to these kind folks who treat people with dignity and compassion despite a challenging and likely thankless job in these tough times.”
