Liz took the time to sit and try to get to know me at the beginning of the appointment. “Love the new sushi bar. My fav is a spicy crunchy shrimp, last week my son came down from Duluth and they were so nice they made my fav--one for each of us. He said best ever. I've never eaten sushi before last month but after one sample I was hooked. The people in the store are so friendly & helpful especially Denise. Cathy, & DEB. And the bakery, produce & deli (LIZ)! Pharmacy fast. Effecient even tho horribly busy. Go the extra mile to get my refill even faxing and calling my MD to get refills so they're ready by time I finish shopping. Instructions are always clear and there is never any hesitation from teachers (or senior students) to help students of all levels. The training space is clean and accessible, and there are many options for classes at different days and times. The Aikido Yoshokai Kobukan dojo is a very positive environment, welcoming and supportive. Lots of support and encouragement from instructors and fellow students to keep learning, trying, and growing. By putting in the training time you will find yourself growing in areas of your life other than just martial arts. The Aikido is phenomenal (and fun!), but make no mistake that many of the lessons here extend beyond the mat.
