The French Académie

I was so happy to find the French Académie for my daughter. It is more than just a daycare center or a school, it is a small community. Veronique's passion for early childhood education and the French language and culture transcends through every part of the program. Our daughter never wants to leave when we pick her up. Browsing through the daily pictures of the children engaging in different activities is a highlight for my husband and I. We are very pleased with our experience and are so fortunate that we were able to find such a special school.

Our experience at the FASM is about dual language learning but so much more! We know that our son is receiving an education that provides him with the best combined strength of the French and American education systems. This is a unique opportunity for him to truly be a world citizen. And he has fun while doing it.

Our son has been at the French Académie for 2 years, starting with the Tout Petit program. He is now in the Maternelle program. Since he has been at the French Académie, a fully immersive environment, his language skills have gone from speaking basic words in French to being fully bilingual. When we drop him off, we feel we are dropping him off with a family member. He loves his teachers and they fully understand him, support him and care for him. They personalize their teaching to his personality and learning style. He is thriving and learning so much in this well-rounded environment and at the end of the day, it is hard to get him to leave. He loves the small group setting and his social skills and emotional development have improved tremendously. He has built many lasting friendships with his classmates. I feel the French Académie offers my son the best opportunity for an all-encompassing, high quality learning experience.

My twin grandchildren love the Tout Petit program. Thanks to devoted care, stimulating activities and an exceptionally well-organized program, they have adjusted to school easily even though they previously had not spent much time away from home. They especially enjoy the open classroom, circle time, outdoor play and the wonderful toys, books and art projects available to them. I see the children in their class every afternoon and I can enthusiastically recommend the French Académie for a splendid French immersion experience.
