(June 21, 2019, 3:47 pm)I had a phenomenal experience with Designer’s Friend. I had purchased a new custom-made couch from Slumberland and selected a red fabric. I had inherited a beautiful chair from my mother that had a southwest pattern of mustard yellow and brown. They did not look good together. DF drove to my house to take measurements. The result is AMAZING. The fabrics are not identical but very close. No one would ever know that the chair is recovered. It looks like it was purchased with the couch. Now I have a gorgeous red-brick theme going on and I never would have found or been able to afford a chair and ottoman like my mother’s (very high quality). I am so impressed with the detailing of the skirting and ribbing. No one else could have done it this well or this reasonably. I’m glad I spent every penny. GREAT SERVICE. GREAT QUALITY.
(February 20, 2019, 7:55 am)We found Joe (the Slipcover Man) online to cover a three piece sectional for our porch. We prayed that what he promised on the website was true. It was! He has been prompt, arriving when he says he will and delivering the finished product when promised. He installed our finished slipcovers last night and they are absolutely beautiful! The craftsmanship is incredible and the fit is perfect. You would not know that these are slipcovers. I would highly recommend his services if you want high quality results. You could completely transform a piece of furniture and even a room with what he has to offer.

Designers Best Friend on the internet and emailed him a photo of my couch. I wasn't sure slip covers would work if I wanted to pull the mechanism open to sleep on it, but he assured me that they could make it work. He came out and measured the piece, making detailed pattern pieces out of paper. I already had some fabric, but he can let you know how much to buy if you want to purchase your own or you can buy it from him. The sofa never left our house. It was supposed to take 3 weeks, but he was back in 2 weeks to put the finished slip covers on. They did an amazing job! You would never know this was not the original upholstery and each piece has a zipper in case I need to clean them. You could get a new sofa for less, but it would not be the quality of this work. I definitely recommend them!
