    Starting prenatal yoga with Karina in my first trimester really made a difference and impacted me in a lot of ways! I started with Karina because I wanted to focus on prenatal yoga for my pregnancy since I was having lower back pain as well as a lot of tightness in my hips due to the changes your body entails when pregnant. I would be frustrated because nothing I was doing on my own was working. The positions or stretches I thought would work didn’t for my specific needs and body. Karina really helped teach me the different ways that work well for me. Karina’s sessions are geared towards what works for you and your body. Not everything works for everyone and she is extremely knowledgeable on how to maneuver you to make you feel comfortable and have it work for you. Also, the one on one sessions are extremely helpful because she is focusing on you and your well-being. After the first session I knew it was working based on how I was feeling and kept improving as our sessions continued. When I first started I had not heard about all the different stretches and positions you can do for prenatal as well as for lower back pain. I was sleeping better at night and felt more comfort after each session. Life looks so much better now because not only do I know what works for my body and needs, Karina is only a text or phone call away if I have any questions or concerns! She has helped me tremendously connecting my mind and body within my pregnancy.

    I highly recommend starting prenatal yoga with Karina in the first trimester. She caters to all shapes, sizes, abilities, making you feel comfort and relief from everyday as well as pregnancy aches and pains. I have had more relief from poses and stretches recommended by Karina than any advice from my doctor, OB or chiropractor.

    I always look forward to my yoga time with Karina and she keeps me motivated to stretch and practice at home. She is quick to answer any questions and give advice/ recommendations when aches and pains arise between sessions.

    I felt results after the first session with Karina. I had stretches and pose ideas on hand (from Karina) to ease a variety of pregnancy discomforts (including round ligament pain, sciatica, headaches, neck pain and lower back pain). I also felt stronger and more relaxed by following Karina’s squat, stretching and strength building recommendations.

    I enjoyed having private sessions with Karina to practice all modifications and receive feedback as we went. I am confident that what I have learned from Karina will help me have a more satisfying and successful birth experience. It has definitely allowed me to have a more enjoyable and pain-free pregnancy!

    When you think of a yoga and mindfulness educator, you want a motivator. You want someone who can tailor your needs into their work. You want someone who will meet you where you are at, whether you feel like a newbie or a yogi expert. That is exactly what you get when you work with Karina.

    I love that Karina provides virtual and in-person support as well. I was lucky enough to meet in person, with Karina being respectful of mask and distancing requests.

    I came to Karina for support with my first pregnancy. I’m not the most motivated person when it comes to movement, but knew that getting back into yoga, most especially during pregnancy was an important move for me. She tailored each session during each trimester to what was comfortable for my body. She provided helpful feedback for ways I could support my body, my pregnancy and my mind. After moving through physical movement, she provided visualization and mindfulness support. We tried out a variety scripts, and she provided me with helpful tips on how to incorporate them into my day to day.

    With pregnancy brain being a very real thing, Karina provided written notes for me to follow and remind myself of my yoga and visualization plans. It was incredibly helpful. If something seemed unclear, Karina did not hesitate to explain further and help me feel and be successful.

    During time in between sessions, Karina would check on me and ask what I was looking forward to next. I felt seen and heard in a way I do not feel in group classes elsewhere.

    During my first trimester, we focused on flexibility, inner thigh stretching, balance, stress relief, and strength. My body felt better, more relaxed and better prepared for the rapid changes that were happening. During my second and third trimester, we focused on imagery and flexibility. It allowed me to trust my body and feel better prepared for birth.

    Being able to take private yoga lessons with Karina gave me space to be vulnerable, receive truly personalized instruction and gave me the ability to be seen and heard. I do like group lessons, but specifically with pregnancy, being able to be work 1:1 with Karina made a huge difference for me mentally, which allowed me to be more physically relaxed as well.

    Karina is an excellent human and wellness professional. I am excited to continue working with her through postpartum and highly recommend working with her during your every day life and during pregnancy. She has helped me build confidence in myself, and will with you too. You won’t regret it!

    Karina is a natural healer and brings the warmest energy to her classes. Her classes have been such a wonderful motivator through out this pandemic. Karina’s yoga classes help connect other yogis to a community of kind souls connected by a common thread spiritual development, health and wellness. Karina’s yoga guidance connects the body and mind on a deeper level that goes beyond yoga. You will find yourself finding a spiritual connection to your body through her yoga classes. During class you will be guided into a practice that infuses yogic philosophy, mindfulness, and deep connections you can connect your practice to your daily life. Thank you, Karina for all the warm energy and light you bring to your students!

    I am amazed and inspired about what yoga can do for the mind and body, and Karina is the one that first introduced me to it. After every class, I feel the improvements of my flexibility, balance, strength, and breath-work. She is such an amazing instructor, especially because of her motivation, dedication, leadership, and openness. I even once asked for some poses and tips that I should do first thing in the morning to give me a boost of energy throughout my day and she was so happy to help. I recommend Karina as their yoga instructor to absolutely anyone!
