Andy was a skilled, caring, and conscientous owner who takes great pride in his craftsmanship and does the work himself.

The raised deck across the width of our house needed replacing. I was dreading getting quotes. Fortunately one of the names we got was Andy’s. He was recommended very highly by a neighbor. And everything after that was smooth sailing.

Andy was extremely helpful and informative. He patiently explained our options....and answered all our questions. It was obvious what a skilled and knowledgeable craftsman he was and how much he cared about the quality of his work. He also came across as caring, honest, sincere, and trustworthy. And throughout the the time we worked with him we saw that is just who he is.

We were hugely relieved to discover how reasonable Andy’s quote was. It actually allowed us to feel comfortable upgrading to nicer looking actual Cedar instead of a cheaper alternative. Plus, the biggest advantage of all about hiring Andy turned out to be that it was Andy himself who personally did all the work!

Andy has boundless energy. He works quickly but with a meticulous eye for detail. I got tired just watching him. His background meant he was very knowledgeable about “best practices” and local codes. And he was committed to doing things the right way. His experience definitely showed.

The deck looks wonderful. Plus it is safer and better built than ever. He put in the extra effort to make sure it was done on time. And he stuck by his quote,even tho some extra materials were required. We were very, very pleased by his work and by his integrity. He was a delight to work with and we trusted and felt very comfortable with him. Additionally his attention to details, plus the quality of his work , was outstanding.
