(August 27, 2020, 10:25 pm)This parking area seems pretty good and relatively secure. It's busy so that makes me feel a little better about the security of the lot and it appears to be in a safe area. No bathrooms at the trailhead that we could find but the trail has many porta-potty's every few miles. The Luce Line trail is a very nice trail, crushed limestone that is almost as smooth rolling as pavement, yet it has no cracks or pot holes. Super fun to ride bikes on if you're into really flat and very straight rails to trails routes.
