The Richfield History Center is always a nostalgic trip. Friendly! Fun!
Only got to the outside of the center today. So far, so good!
It is not a big museum but, it is a very significant place of the first suburb of The Twin Cities, it is the farmhouse where the pioneers family used to live; lots of historic details are placed on the inside of this. Attention to visitors is wonderful along many other interesting details, you may move thoughts to the to the past while having a tour over the house; Really good place for those who love History!!
Alot of little bits of history in this small but packed full place. It would be a great place for young school kids to learn some Minnesota history. Don't forget to drop some bills in the donation jar!
I have been to the Richfield Historical Society several times and I have been very impressed with how they have preserved the rich history of Richfield. Alyssa, the Society Director, is extremely knowledgeable and she is very passionate about sharing details of Richfield, the Bartholomew House and gives a great tour and insight to all that visit. If you haven't checked out the Richfield Historical Society, it's a must do! I highly recommend.
