A beautiful oasis of nature in the city. I'll definitely be coming back here to hike. Only down side is that it was crawling with family photographers on a beautiful fall afternoon, so it wasn't quite as peaceful as it might be other times. Nice, well-kept trails.
This nature center is tucked in away in a neighborhood. It has an amazing indoor space to explore, an adorable playground and picnic area. There are walking and hiking trails to explore the grounds. They had a story stroll setup on our visit. Highly recommend for all families with kids of all ages!
This is an excellent little hidden park, and even if the parking lot is full of cars, you rarely ever see anybody else out on the trails. There are two picnic centers (and a bunch of individual tables), which can be reserved so be sure to check before hauling out a cooler or something. Both are relatively close to the parking lot so it's not a long trek. Afterwards, you can take a nice stroll around the lake, or hang out on one of the many docks and observe the wildlife.
It is located in a nice little environment ! It has a playground near it! Your kids gonna love this place ! Have not entered the center but explored it’s surrounding ! Will come again because it got an indoor play ground like place ! when it gets cold and won’t able to go outside ,it will be a perfect place to be in with a toddler !
This is a Hidden Gem in the Twin Cities. Miles of walking trails, lots of wildlife, and an amazing new Interpretive Center! The park is staffed by some of the most knowledgeable naturalist that are always available to answer your questions.
