We had an amazing experience with the Travel Beyond team, headed by Craig Beal. My husband and I had been thinking about a trip to Africa for almost a decade, and the deft and meticulous planning by Craig Beal and Jenny Falls made our imagined experience a reality. From the moment we landed overseas, we were in such capable hands. We never once felt adrift or as if a single detail had been overlooked or a possibility left unconsidered. We were left with a stress-free, life-changing experience that we will not soon forget! We highly recommend Travel Beyond and would use their services again, without a doubt.

Travel Beyond was the perfect choice to prepare our 25th wedding anniversary trip to South Africa. Craig and his team didn't miss a single detail in this trip of a lifetime! Safari in Botswana and South Africa with up close experiences that included leopards, lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, wild dogs, a hippo and so many other creatures. Our guides were seasoned professionals with extensive knowledge on the animals, terrain, etc. All the accommodations were five star, the food exceptional and friendly staff welcomed us every time.

My mom and I started planning for our trip of a lifetime to South Africa in 2019. We were planning to travel in August of 2020. We met with Melanie and from the first conversation, she was warm and welcoming and was so excited for us to get to experience the beauty of South Africa. As we all know, 2020 smacked us right in the face with a global pandemic that impacted the travel industry the hardest. Borders were closed, air travel was not recommended and our dreams of seeing South Africa were quickly collapsing around us.

I cannot tell you how THANKFUL we were to have Melanie and Stephanie help navigate us through all of this. We could have never done this on our own. They cancelled out safari lodges and flights and rebooked everything for August 2021. Although we were saddened to have to wait another year to get to South Arica, we were confident that we would get there (safely!) with a team like Melanie and Stephanie at our side. Throughout the year leading up to our rescheduled travel, I don’t even remember the amount of changes that happened to our itinerary (it was a lot, trust me!), and they handled everything with calmness and ease even though I’m sure it was a nightmare for them on the back end. We put our full trust in them and they delivered far above and beyond what we ever expected.

We were able to make it out to South Africa in August 2021 and to say it was a trip of a lifetime is an understatement. The beauty of South Africa, and especially the South African bush, is unparalleled to anything we’ve ever seen or done. My luggage was even delayed arriving into South Africa and Melanie was still by my side helping us through it all even after we were feet on the ground in South Africa (and still helping me with it post-trip). Thoughtful touches and notes throughout our trip made us feel welcomed and that our business was appreciated.

We found a travel company we now love in Travel Beyond thanks to Melanie and Stephanie and we will definitely be back to book with them. Not to mention the recommendations we’ll be giving out to friends who want to experience Africa. My mom and I are already talking about where we could go next! (And I'm thinking about how I could pull of a solo trip!). Thank you to Travel Beyond, Melanie and Stephanie, for your friendliness, calmness, and genuine excitement for us and for creating the most spectacular memories for my mom and I that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Travel Beyond is the best! I have been traveling with them since 2007, and takin multiple trips. This year looked a bit different with the pandemic and all of the closures, yet Travel Beyond stayed ahead of the change. They planned a wonderful itinerary to a beautiful country - complete with top rate guides, wonderful tours, a fantastic and fun driver - shout out to Vlad - and a coffee tasting in Panama that is a new favorite of ours! We went to Santa Catalina and stayed at Catalina’s hotel - a secluded beach boutique hotel hidden in a small town with snorkeling tours just up the rode. Dianna, our travel agent, was superb and had tons of local tips and recommendations, caring for our every need. We love coffee and good food, and Panama did not disappoint. I would recommend Travel Beyond and Panama to anyone - easy, close, fun and wonderful people - and food :)

We can't say enough good things about working with Travel Beyond, specifically Kayla and Dana! They put together an amazing itinerary that gave us the best honeymoon we could have asked for (and more!). We had a lot of postponing to do and changes from 2020 to 2021, and they were communicative, patient, and had our best interests in mind the whole time. We are so grateful for our experience and for Kayla and Dana's expertise!
