I moved into Highcroft in March. I moved here because of Dixie and unfortunately, she fell and broke her hip right before I moved in. Although I love my apartment very much, I am disappointed with the tenants that disregard the no smoking rule and the management who is not enforcing it. I do know that if Dixie were here this would not be an issue. Everything else about Highcroft is wonderful. Great maintenance, Mike is great! You can't beat the location. My 1 star away from the 5 is the smoking. With my allergies I am not happy.
Dixie was very accommodating during the application process. She was able to answer all of my questions and was prompt at returning my calls. I appreciate the extra mile Dixie went in preparing my apartment for move in. Her friendly demeanor and cheery attitude has made this the easiest move I have ever made!

What makes this place awesome is onsite building manager Dixie! She's attentive, helpful, funny and really is the 'secret sauce' to this apartment building. She fosters a sense of community within the building, too. Great value of an apartment.
Building: fine. Older (1950's?), everything is largely original reasonably well maintained. Pool is a nice plus. Easy on street parking available.
Location: Excellent. just around the corner from downtown Wayzata and Lake Minnetonka. Great restaurants and shops near by. Playgrounds, trails and a beach too. Easy on/off the interstate. Only downside is the train tracks. You can feel the floor shake sometimes we are so close. Thankfully they don't blow their horn between 10pm and 7am.
