“My mom stayed here for a little less than 2 weeks after surgery to mend a broken wrist and femur. We did a ton of research trying to find a specialized nursing facility with good reviews. Augustana was one of our top choices and we were fortunate that they had a bed available upon her discharge from the hospital. I was a little apprehensive after a tour of the facility (it is definitely old and there are not many bells and whistles). The rooms are small and basic (albeit clean and functional). But I assure you, do NOT judge a book by its cover! My mom received amazing care here! From the nurses to the PT and OT staff, everyone she encountered was kind and caring. She loved the daily activities and the home cooked meals. She is hoping to volunteer at Augustana once she is physically able. If you are looking for a facility to entrust your family to, I would highly recommend Augustana Chapel View”
