Great place to park and access the Sakatah Trail

Two sheltered picnic areas with nicely maintained public restrooms and electrical outlets (where phones can be charged!) make this neat little rest stop a necessity on the lovely Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail between Mankato and Waterville. The tiny downtown area (in which the City Hall's located) about a block away is likewise a delightful place to explore on foot, featuring several rather inviting food and drink options as well as a post office and some decidedly affordable shopping. Convenience store goods may be easily had at the Casey's gas station, just across the highway.
