Hard to find a gunsmith like this anymore that can actually fix a problem instead of just put in a parts order. I had a problem with my 1960's era Savage combo gun, and the larger gunsmith I had taken it to disassembled it, put in a back order for an out of production part, and set it in a box for months. I brought it to Mr. Miller, and he machined the part, and it has been working flawlessly. He's a very knowledgeable man and will get your problem solved.
This guy is great. I took him a weird old gun many years ago and he sourced parts and repaired it quickly and inexpensively. Couldn't believe it.
Quality workmanship at a reasonable price. Best to take your work to him during the summer months to avoid having to wait in the queue to get your work done. Wait time during the busy months in the fall can be up to four weeks. I use him to do all my FFL firearm transfers. Never had a problem with my transfers.
