I have been a SPIRE member for 15 years and an employee for 6 years. Ever since my very first experience with SPIRE back when it was Twin Cities Co-Op I have always felt that they are different then the "big banks". I had a few issues with a large bank 15 years ago and TCU was the ONLY bank that would open an account for me. That has always stuck with me as they took a chance and allowed me to open a savings account, then a checking account which was so helpful as I did not have a bank to deposit my paychecks.

Flash forward to today, and I know why I was treated like I was so long ago. SPIRE truly CARES about our members and their financial well being. We will help whenever possible to make sure our members are financially prepared for life, even if it is something as seemingly small as a savings account.
