Meizhou Dongpo Restaurant

I didn't know anything about this place going. All the other places had a long wait bc of limited seating and covid precautions. Got seated quickly and very nice interior. Menu isn't like a usual Chinese restaurant so we just picked a few things. Size of orders are larger than normal but very pleasantly surprised- plates were very tasty. A bit expensive but not crazy once I actually tasted the quality- it supports it.

This restaurant has great food. We took takeout and then couldn't wait to get home to eat, so we ate the great food in the car. Couldn't wait it smelled so good and it was epic treat. Thank you so much Meizhou restaurant for a great dinner.

Started off with one of the nicest servers ever - Brandon. He's really very helpful and knows what to suggest based on what you're looking for. He didn't try to get me to buy expensive stuff or anything like that. The restaurant is really pretty inside. Wow, another server adjusted the sun umbrella without my asking - his name Michael. Such great service! Ok, so I'm rarely this impressed!!!! The hiring staff really know what they're doing!

I walked out of the men's restroom and into the women's and didn't notice it till I exited the women's restroom. So be careful lol.

For me the minced pork spicy noodles were a little bit too spicy. The chile flavor is great but mix the chile well with the noodles because it's a tiny bit too salty.

The duck sliders were ok. They are not the kind of sliders most people are used to. They are flat bao bread discs. It's like a bao taco lol.

Make sure you get the plum juice. It's so good!!!!

The red bean buns are phenomenal.

Thanks Mike for taking such good care of my insurance needs. It is not easy to navigate the insurance waters, but Mike was able to make simple to understand.

Good genuine spicy Chinese food
