(June 8, 2020, 12:34 am)I’m not sure how I’ve lived in Saint Paul/Minneapolis for 25 years and never have tried this place until today!! Very friendly staff & the food is delicious!! The veggies and bread was so fresh. Sandwich was huge. I was able to eat half for lunch and half for dinner! Excellent!! My new favorite deli!
(May 31, 2020, 7:13 pm)Nelson Cheese & Deli is a staple in the Como area. They offer salads, a great variety of sandwiches as well as desserts and snacks. The ingredients have always been high quality in my experience and they have good customer service. Highly recommend.
(July 9, 2019, 11:45 pm)Deli style, take it to go. Fresh food. Arguably the best BLTs you can buy in Minneapolis/St Paul , tons of crunchy thick bacon. Over the top amazing salads. Excellent sandwiches. Great selection of unique beverages and potato chips. Gourmet cheese with multiple flavors. Reasonable prices. Free Parking. After trying it once when I was in the area, I put this place on my food radar. Try this out, you wont be disappointed.
(August 18, 2018, 5:25 pm)Great sandwich and lettuce wrap experience today. I happily stumbled across this place after a visit to the Como zoo in St. Paul. When I asked for lettuce wrap instead of bread, I expected one piece of lettuce. I was shocked to see a whole salad wrapped around my sandwich fillings! Keep up the great work
