Great friendly staff!! They make the experience of having Texas Barbeque very awesome! Brisket was great too!!
I’ve been bringing my Turkey to Dickey’s for several years now for them to smoke it. It’s always the hit of the holiday! They do a wonderful job smoking all kind of Turkeys, Brisket, Ribs etc…. Their pricing is really reasonable as well!
I had the most amazing brisket here today. Perfect smoky flavor. Add some baked potato casserole and fried okra, and it’s naptime.
Great medium-priced BBQ. My only complaint is that they have gone overboard on COVID restrictions. GONE are the containers of BBQ sauce in mild, medium and hot out in the dining room. GONE is the soft-serve ice cream. I love Dickey's, but probably won't be back until they return to normal.
We enjoy this place very much. It is a good place to spend a couple hours learning a bit about the history of native people and pioneers in this area. We also enjoy the summer day-camps here.
An interesting historic oasis in the middle of the city. This 1850s farmstead is well- preserved, and tells the story of early settlers of this area, as well as their native American neighbors. Absolutely worth the visit.
Love the story of it history and ice cream to
To tour guides are fantastic and very knowledgeable in the history of the farm and family that lived there. A lot of different things going on, such as metal foraging, ice cream social and a couple different tours. Really enjoyed our morning and learned a lot as well.
