This is more of an experience than the food itself. The experience is beautiful simple because of the natural aesthetic of a farm and a barn. You need to carry everything you need, just like you would for a picnic.
The pizzas themselves were good. Not anything exotic, but good just like any wood fired pizza. Definitely a bit pricey at $30 per pizza, but worth it once for the experience.
The venue is beautiful, with manicured lawns, curving walks, covered tables and big sky vistas. We went for pizza night and enjoyed various flavors -- all combinations are pretty safe and sharable. We brought wine and enjoyed spreading a blanket on the grass. As the sun set, the full moon was spectacular over the lush green fields.
Only open Wednesday nights for pizza night. Make sure to bring cash, make a reservation, bring everything you need for a picnic. There are some tables and chairs, but if you want to bring a blanket to sit in the yard, you can. Bring your cooler with drinks, paper plates, napkins, trash bag you have to carry everything out with you. There are not even any garbage cans.
The farm was extremely picturesque, and we enjoyed sitting on the lawn chairs we brought enjoying the panoramic views watching the horses and chickens and listening to the live music. The pizza was delicious. We had a simple cheese and a pepperoni with the kids and everyone enjoyed the fired crust, ample cheese and sauce. After pizza we had ice cream bars and soda in a glass bottle and then enjoyed some lawn games on their beautiful lawn by the vineyard. We loved our time at the farm and are already planning another visit.
Pizza was wood fired which had a decent flavor to it; however the cheese wasn't very good, thought it could've used a little more sauce and cheese along with flavor, it was cool for a one time experience. FYI They were tons of flies everywhere,
The barn is pretty, kids were feeding horses and chicken/rooster were pretty to look at, said you need to make reservations online the Friday before the Wednesday you want to go.
