Shager County Park

Love the whole serenity of the place. Great spot to swing in the sunset and to chill by the water at dusk. Really neat when it’s frozen too

Awesome beach here with plenty of paved trail to explore. Beautiful scenery all around.

It’s a nice little place to sit and enjoy your day and have a little family get together. They have 2 docks where you can go out on and enjoy the water and the morning breeze and fish from on the other side there’s also a beach where you can go swimming. There’s some wildlife that you are able to enjoy there and take pictures of or just watch and enjoy. A trail runs through Shager Park so if you are walking, jogging, or biking then you can stop by and rest and enjoy this beautiful place for a moment.

This is the place to go! Big open waters. Shallow. Not busy at all! Easy to get boat in and out of water.
