We hired John for a large kitchen remodel that involved removing a load bearing wall to create an open concept in a home originally built in 1920. We originally weren't sure what we wanted to do with the space and met with multiple contractors. John listened to our wants and concerns and helped us come up with a design that we loved! My wife was pregnant at the time and John estimated an 8 to 10 week timeline which gave us about 3 weeks before the due date. This was also over the holidays.

As with any house as old as ours, we ran into some issues quickly into the demo, and we even realized that there were actually 2 load bearing walls involved to keep our original design. John worked with us and we were able to deal with all issues within the original budget.

Throughout the time we worked with John and his crew, he was extremely responsive, and would always text us progress and made the entire process a really fun experience. The kitchen was finished within 9 weeks and we couldn't be happier with the result and working with John.

We would recommend John to anyone wanting to redo their kitchen. Especially if you don't exactly know all your options. John's extensive experience is perfect to help guide you with what is possible. Just be prepared for some funny texts during or even after your project :)

We hired John (owner of Revival Interiors) for our kitchen design, cabinet install and painting, and hood vent build and install. We decided to go with IKEA cabinets with Semihandmade fronts, and he came highly recommended. We met with him and after talking with him about our design, we knew he was going to be a great choice and we were not disappointed! Through the entire process, he was very helpful, prompt, and provided invaluable recommendations based on his experience when we were making decisions. We really enjoyed working with John and the people he surrounds himself with were amazing as well.

All around great experience. We had an aggressive timeline, were changing our mind up front on a few items, but he remained extremely patient and accommodating, and came in both on time and budget. It speaks volumes that John also puts great pride in his work. Revival Interiors is a family-run business, from concept generation through final install. We couldn’t recommend enough!

Our tiny redesigned kitchen is more than we had hoped for with thanks to John and his crew of artisans who led the remodeling project. We were especially grateful they understood that despite of its small size, our kitchen played a big role in the look of our urban retreat and they shared details with us to give it the contemporary look we sought. They also made it obvious from the beginning that their familiarity with Ikea products made design and installation much easier than if we had attempted it ourselves. We think they are well worth the money spent and would recommend them to anyone contemplating an Ikea kitchen.
