Cleary Lake Regional Park

I took my dog on a 3 mile walk around the lake and it was beautiful. The trails were so nice and the service is amazing. People are running, biking, golfing, and rollerblading. I definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a great walk on a beautiful day.

Great place to go forna walk or bike ride. Or just to let me kids and pets run and play.

Has it all -- walking paths and amenities to rollerblade, bike, picnic, kayak, canoe, golf.

There are no motor boats on this Lake. You will see things like eagles, Hawks, herons, and beautiful little inlets that you can explore on the outer edges of the lake. There are some sections with algae, but if you are in a kayak or a canoe there's no issue getting through (rentals available). Overall the beaches, lake, and 3.25 mile walking path makes for an awesome get away, even close to the city.

Great year-round activities. We especially love renting kayaks, walking around the lake, and the wild animal sightings (eg ospreys, deer, wooly bear caterpillars).
