Mom and pop shops have been in decline over the past few decades. If there was ever a 'best', he's got it cornered. It's not about the sales, it's about the experience at a shop like his that holds onto Americana at its finest.

Plus he sold Prince his first Honor guitar at the old shop in Burnsville. Not to mention guitars to the Rolling Stones and other high caliber rockers. Living music history has never been more sincere than his stories and experiences...

I've always enjoy the vibe here, I believe my first guitar purchase at Lavonnes was over 30 years ago in my late teens.
