(September 29, 2021, 3:05 pm)We joined BREAKtheFAST for the weekday tiffin service in Aug'21. It has ticked all the boxes for us: quality, authenticity (Maharashtrian-Indian) and variety (including several greens/legumes/cruciferous veggies among others). We also love their chapati/bhakri(Indian breads).
We also try their weekend specials regularly and have always been impressed with the taste.

Marathi cuisine might sound simple however it can be challenging to fulfill the expectations of many as Marathi cuisine is not commercially standardized like that of Punjabi or South Indian food. The taste varies in various regions of Maharashtra and neighboring locations and sections of society. We are fortunate to have Break the fast as an option to order food. Apart from typical Marathi food, the other Indian food choices are equally good.
The packaging is very thoughtful and careful to keep the various aspects of food like texture undisturbed till it reaches the dining table.
Looking forward for upcoming menu choices from Break the fast.
(February 6, 2021, 4:17 pm)Highly recommend! Where to start? Warm, personal service. Delicious food made with great ingredients and a clear love for good food. I had the kutchi dabeli and appe+chutney this morning, and am already making future plans. If you like Indian food, particularly South Indian food, you will not be disappointed. I also want to reiterate what a prev reviewer said. This is home cooking. I’ve had the green coconut chutney all my life in restaurants, but this took it to another level.

The sorghum bhakri has to be eaten to be believed. Not only is the food scrumptious, but the service is excellent and prompt. For the non native diner, please note that is not restaurant food, but home made food that you would will not find in a restaurant!
Try it- you won’t be disappointed!!
