Memorial Park

Beautiful, well-maintained park. My husband and I have visited this park several times, but most recently for a little lunch picnic and reading. It has huge lawns with plenty of shade. There are shelters, but when we visited they were being used by families. I'm not sure if they're rentable/reservable or not, so you might want to plan ahead. We visited on a Sunday around noon. There is a public bathroom, nice paved trails, and a clean-looking playground. There's a little noise from nearby traffic, but other than that it's very picturesque. It was very spacious and comfortable. Ample parking.

Always happy to end up at a playground that doesn't have sand to get in my kid's shoes! Also have fun to have the place to ourselves since it was a chilly day.

Love this park! Peaceful and quiet, perfect for feeding ducks or just relaxing.

A nice park. Busy yet peaceful at the same time and we’ll maintained. Interesting history in the area as well.
