This is an interesting joint and apparently everybody in Shakopee was here on a Saturday night. As other reviewers have mentioned, the jambalaya portion is huge. The flavor was good but I wish there was an option to make it spicier. Someone in my party ordered the lobster roll and said it was awesome. Another in our party for the lobster Mac n cheese and said it was fine (bland).
However, the service was a bit off as our drinks came at the same time as our food, and my wine glass had a layer of hard water stains on it, but I didn't complain as who knows how long that other glass would have taken. I think this place was still working out some kinks since they haven't been open for too long. I would consider visiting again if I'm in the area.
Very nice and clean. Our waiter was right on point with timing and checking in on us. I was excited to get lobster bisque and lobster roll that I miss from the East Coast. The lobster bisque was flavorful but not as creamy as I am used too but had big chunks of lobster that sometimes get skimped on at other places. The lobster roll was also very flavorful with big chunks of lobster but the roll was not a traditional roll like you would get on the East coast. Our table also had the chicken and waffles and spicy chicken sandwich and fish and chips and salmon. All were liked. The spicy chicken sandwich is very spicy and the chicken and waffles is not quite as spicy and a very good balance of spice but probably to spicy for little ones. I thought the prices were very reasonable. I am sure we will go here again.
We ordered corn fritters (see pic), they were amazing! Wife had a burger and I ordered a lobster roll, both were soooo delicious, service was on point, the manager even reached out to make sure everything was up to par and it was, it was an A+ dining experience and we definitely will be returning soon, thank you!
This place is consistently good. Nothing mind blowing, but it’s good. Prices are a bit high. We went tonight and the service was good, my only complaint Was that my steak was a little less done than I like. I like more medium and this was very medium rare/rare. It was still good.
We had the Blacken Salmon Caesar, Fish & Chips, Gammys Meatloaf, and Southern Fried Chicken.
Everything was delicious! Service was terrific and parking is plentiful.
Only thing I would suggest is a bigger piece of chicken or at least 2 pieces for the Southern Fried Chicken which I thought would be bigger. Other than that, will definitely return again!
