The WHY Church

This is a nondenominational congregation that meets at the ymca in elk river. The atmosphere is welcoming, a free light breakfast is served. The messages by Pastor Bjorn Dixon are well researched, given in a God-honoring and life applicable way. Highly recommend.

My husband and I have been attending the Why Church for over four years. This growing family of Christ followers never ceases to amaze us! We have witnessed servant hearts unfold as one body in Christ in so many instances - We know that these hearts have been nourished with the truth of God's Word through the ministry and message of our leaders. There is much selflessness and warmth in this church we call family and we have had no hesitations with inviting friends and coworkers to join us. Focused on scripture and being a welcoming community of believers, this is truly a place to grow our relationship with Jesus and with others.

I have been coming to the WHY Church for 5 plus years now. The messages each week are what had me coming back! I felt as if the pastor was talking to only me. That grew into a community and friendships for myself and my children. I could not be happier. Thank you to the leadership team at the WHY church!

Our family has been active members of The Why Church for several years. We've found this to be a welcoming community that focuses on Christ centered, biblical teaching, in a friendly, family oriented setting!

We have never felt more connected to a church than The Why Church! Absolutely amazing pastors, messages, worship team, youth programming, small groups, camps and even breakfast Sunday mornings! A church that is Christ centered with arms wide open!
