Oakdale Discovery Center

Really beautiful park and lots of walking trails. The nature center was nice also.

We’re moving soon and this beloved park will be oh so missed by my awesome dog and myself. The trails are awesome year round and it’s a big enough park that it rarely feels crowded. Love that the loop is paved for strollers and wheelchair accessibility, love the mowed paths for the serenity, love the deer trails, love the playground, the bridge, and all the wild life we see year round. And thanks for the garbage cans throughout the park because it’s nice to not have to carry poo on our walks. Free parking. And what else… just awesome. Love this spot. It’s a little slice of paradise.

We had my son's wedding there this past weekend and it was great. We had the ceremony outside in the amphitheater and the reception in the discovery center building. It was great being able to be in the air conditioning yet still having all the amazing view of the park. The staff was great at helping me plan and setup everything. Very happy my minions chose this for their venue.

Great place to hike, walk, run, jog, or sightsee. There are plenty of animals around, a lake, numerous benches, and paved and dirt trails to explore.
