My family and I had the most AMAZING time today playing with the baby goats! The owner was so welcoming, made us feel more like guests than just a number. An hour running around with baby goats, feeding them, having a grand old time! I would absolutely recommend this to everyone, more than worth the money! :)
It's baby goat season! ๐ This farm is super close to the cities and easy to get to with beautiful rolling hills, curvy roads, amazing trees and pastures. If you are looking for a fun place to explore, get out and stretch your legs and be around loveable goats, look no further. This farm is OUTSTANDING. The goats are so well taken care of, have earned so many awards and trophies for their amazing genetics & handling around the nation, and are highly sought after in the animal world for producing amazing offspring. Not only are they one of the best, they also sell their goat milk in stores like Cub, Coborns, etc. You can buy it in store or ON THE FARM after you take A TOUR TO PET GOATS ๐โญ๏ธ๐. Tastes very comparable to cows milk ๐ฅ. I loved bottle feeding the newborn kids and seeing the adult goats. The barns are very clean (keep in mind, it's a farm and they are animals, there all be generic messes) and the staff & owners are so helpful. They are so passionate about sharing knowledge about their livestock, as well as answering questions about anything farm related. They love to see new people and returning guests - let's be honest, this world needs so love these days and our family farms really do make a difference, and can use our love and support, too. You can purchase tours, goat soap, fresh raw milk and fresh pasteurized milk from them. Give them a call or visit their website to learn more. ๐๐๐๐ So many goats to love!
This place is exceptional. It was one of the greatest family experiences we have ever had. We got to tour the goat dairy and learn all about the goats. This place boosts over 650 goats. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
The best part was the chance to milk a goat and feed the baby goats from a bottle, most of them were less than 3 days old.
We highly recommend the tour, it was worth every penny.
Loved our time touring Poplar Hill, speaking with the family, and spending lots of time with the dairy goats. BEST of all bottle feeding and playing with the baby goats โค๏ธ Farm is idyllic and beautiful - our family loved it and we will be back again.
If you're like me, you are missing the MN State Fair in 2020. This is an awesome place to check out and get up close and personal, definitely more than you would at the fair. This farm has won many awards at the fair and has over 700 goats! Holding a baby goat was definitely a highlight, playing with the dogs is a close second. I learned a lot about goats and even milked one! There's goat milk, goat soap, and some cheese (cheese will be stopping soon) for sale. We lucked out on a beautiful day to hang at the farm, can't wait to see them next year at the fair. Great informative tour with some awesome goats!
