Welcome to Gordys in the quaint town or Wilnernie! As you walk-in you are greeted by a friendly hostess in a dimly lit romantic atmosphere. We did not have reservations, they were able to seat us, however I would recommend you do because the restaurant was full even the bar seating; I consider us lucky to get in. The menu had a nice variety of options for drinks and appetizers and the main courses is mainly steak, it is a steakhouse but they do have other options. We ordered a filet and a tenderloin, both cooked perfectly and they came with unlimited warm bread, salads and a side dish option which was nice that it was not al a cart like most steakhouses. Dessert I had to miss out on as I was too full but they sounded delicious. Our server was very attentive and did highlight on our receipt that they charge almost a 4% fee to use a credit card!!! Besides the ridiculous credit card fee everything was great.
I would have posted a picture of the food but I ate it all first, easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! Also the side of mushrooms and onions was amazing. Also the bread was perfect. I might have to go adjust all previous ratings since this is a PERFECT 5/5 stars!
Went to Gordy's with friends. It was excellent. Three of us had steak and my wife had the walleye. Steak people were happy, Walleye person was not. Very thing was wonderful.
Been going here since it was the Shore Club!
A little dark but very very good steaks, all aged 28 days - try the blackened and stuffed with blu cheese- (black n blue). Also this is one of a small handful of supper clubs that actually has great French onion soup. The wedge salad is done right. I wish they had popovers. If you want a great steak in the East metro this is a sure bet.
The baked potatoes are huge and sea salted. The green beans are crisp. As an option you can add jumbo prawns or butterflied coconut shrimp to any steak.
The bartender knows how to make a real old fashioned- just like a Wisconsin supper club. You won’t be disappointed.
Had a great time and experience! The reason for 4 stars only because we had issue finding parking spot. No valet either. Great atmosphere and food was top! Service was superior too!
