“I just came to this speedway and got gas and went to use the car wash. AS we all know when computers can go wrong they do. It charged me for my wash then the system didn't acknowledge me. I'm lucky chris helped me. He was very polite and helpful. He went through the process with me and made a difference in my day just being a genuinely great person. I used to manage a speedwayand employees like him are what makes the difference to these stores. He is a 5 star employee. This speedway is lucky to have him and hopefully they acknowledge that and his value.”

“This place was a hidden gem. Its spacious, had great decor, great food, and great staff. Staff were very attentive and checked on us frequently. Food was great. We had the nachos which were really good. Normally only the top nachos are covered in the toppings but not these nachos. Toppings were on every one! The burgers are huge and tasty. The club sandwich was good and the bread was perfectly toasted. Seasoned sour cream could use a touch more seasoning. Regular and waffle fries were good. The pancakes are delicious! They have bingo twice a week and meat raffles. They also have a different special for every day of the week. Prices are reasonable. Definitely recommend going here.”

We came as a group of three and had an amazing experience with the recommended favorites that Mary offered. “Great place, good food, even friendlier people. First time in a long time I walked inside about 530 in the morning and was immediately greeted by a couple of the old timers sitting down talking with their coffee. I was still a kid coming out with my dad the last time that happened. Small truck parking area, maybe room for 10 trucks. Didnt use them but they have showers, a truckers lounge, as wellbas wifi. Definitely worth a stop, so take care of this place drivers. Not many of these left out here.”

“Dan is OUTSTANDING - Dan is a professional owner operator - We had a semi emergency / had a short and fire inside the meter box outside of our house (Xcel energy was also awesome). Xcel said i needed an electrician to replace the meter socket before we would have electricity - so I called 5 electricians who didn't have a person available but instead I was referred by 2 separate electricians to Dan at DD electric in Monticello (in addition the Xcel Energy guy ended up coming up with the same name and number). I talked to Dan for a minute I had him talk to the Xcel Energy guy and Dan wrapped up another job and was here within an hour with the right parts - we were back in business within 3 hours of calling Xcel Energy - Dan could have financially taken full advantage of the situation but he didn't - just an all around hard working good person who is respected by his peers. Dan admits he only works every other weekend but the others just finished a job and said no - Dan finished a job and was ready for more : )”
