“First time dining in, I know the pastries are awesome! Good experience even though I didn't expect one, being as we (family) showed up 20min till close on a Saturday. We were a bit confused as to seating since there is no real indication to seat yourself or wait, we just went and sat down. The staff was friendly and accommodating, we did not feel rushed. I left room for another star in case I start to frequent this place which I'd like, so I can try more of the menu.”

“We go to a lot of Cub Foods in the area and this one is our Favorite. Here are some Pros: -Produce is always good/fresh -Good selection of fruits and vegetables -Deli is well organized and Clean. -Staff is always polite and willing to help -Free Fruit for our toddler while shopping (Big Plus!) The few Cons that I have: -They don't have paper towels next to the vegetables (sometimes you need to dry them off before bagging them up) -The hours are going from 24Hours/day to only being open: 5am-1am??? Something like that. Overall, Very Impressed!”

“First, my son, wife and I really enjoy coming here and picking apples together. It's a great way to have fun and bond. The bags cost $18.95, so that is what I based the entrance fee on. But there is no fee to enter that I'm aware of. They have some other activities too, but more for little kids. There is also a tractor ride that goes around the orchard. It is a great way to have a fun day. Try to get there early in the season though. Otherwise you're having to pick from the tops of the trees.”

“I was lucky enough to taste test one of Claire's cakes in prep for her opening her business. The vanilla cake was appropriately moist and light, with lovely rainbow buttercream between layers and cute buttercream work on the outside (I'm a frosting aficionado and this was just the right amount of frosting! And I didn't have to take any fondant off of the cake either which is a bonus for me.) Pricing looks great too, so I'll definitely be ordering here next time I'm in a party mood!”

“Key West Bistro is located in one of my favorite areas of South Minneapolis and I visit as frequently as I can. Close to the light rail and other fantastic spots to grab food at. The owner is lovely and I really appreciate the thought that went into creating a space that doesn’t look like every other coffee shop in the Twin Cities. I started with an iced cafe con leche and it was SO GOOD and arguably the best drink to grab on a warm day. Followed up by a Cuban that was crunchy on the outside, pressed down to perfection and soft on the inside. Loved the pork, ham, cheese, mustard and pickles - all very authentic tasting, down to the sour pickles, which is KEY here. I’m a South Florida native who has lived in the twin cities for 6 years now. Finding Cuban food and Cuban coffee is not easy around here. Thanks for bringing back some great memories from my younger years with my most recent visit.”

“They’ve redone the inside and it’s nice. We went on a Saturday morning and there was a wait but nothing outrageous. Our waitress was great and the food was good. Only 4 stars because prices felt high. I suppose that’s just a thing these days, but I used to be able to go there and eat for two for $20. Now it’s almost $40 if you order anything besides just basic breakfasts. Portions also weren’t as large as we’re used to.”

“My experience with this location is dry much hit or miss. On one occasion, I went in to buy some muffins and the manager who helped me couldn't have been more personable and professional. On another occasion, and this is most often the case, I have to wait to be seated, even when they're not busy. Then, getting your food takes longer than expected and I suspect it's due to staffing shortages. The food is always good and the only drawback is the wait so plan accordingly.”

“Kolacky 4-23-2021 a wet, cloudy miserable day. But for the first time I was able to see and taste a kolacky. Yes, I said my first. That raspberry filling was mighty fine. “Not at all bad as far as Walmarts go, they seem to be generally well stocked on the shelves but for delivery they seem to be running out of things quite frequently these days. Perhaps this is normal. But the staff is generally nice, but the one thing I do notice is for there to be a tendency for staff members to be reticent and a little bit shy in regard to offering help or helping people. This could be just because of the neighborhood being somewhat of a rough neighborhood and this part of Minneapolis and people just aren't open to lending a hand to someone they don't know quite so quickly. Being a disabled individual, this does come across as something to be aware of. However on the positive side, being disabled individual, I have noticed that there are almost always more than enough electric carts available.”

“Every time I come home from Mississippi Market and prepare a meal, I think, "I'm so blessed!" The best eggs I've ever eaten. The best cottage cheese. The best bread. The best meat--and at a great value. The best tortilla chips. The best produce . . . Everything is the best there. For example, an organic Russet potato from Whole Foods doesn't hold a candle to an organic Russet potato from Mississippi Market.
