“They have bathrooms you can use here! That is enough reason to get 5 stars. It's big decent pricing, all units are outside. The bathroom is inside the main office but open to all. They also have free cups of water you can drink. You can store vehicles here too. Its 24 hours also which to me is a big deal because my indoor storage is not 24 and it's a pain in the butt.”

“I recently had a nasal polyp removed at Mercy SDSC and it couldn't have went better. This is on the 2nd floor of the new building across Coon Rapids Blvd from Mercy (connected by skyway). When I arrived I had a family member with me. I was checked in quickly, and they had already done all the paperwork. They offered my companion coffee, and actually made sure THEY were comfortable too. That put my mind at ease knowing they weren't sitting out there worrying. TVs, newspaper, and beverages, it helped take her mind off my surgery. To top it off, there's monitors that show the current phase of each patient surgery (anonymized enough that unless you know the patient you couldn't identify them). Once back in the preparation area I had a nurse that was by my side from start to finish. Within no time the anesthesiologist and Dr. stopped in to check in. From arriving to on the operating table was less than 30 minutes! When I was brought in to the operating theater the nurses actually greeted me and introduced themselves. Again, another personal touch that that made me feel more at ease. I was kept warm and supported while I went under. When I woke up there was the same nurse (wish I could remember her name) with water and a smile. Meantime the Dr. had went out to brief my family that everything went well. They even filled my prescriptions right there, saving us a trip to Walgreens. They made sure we knew what to expect, and where to call if we had any questions. OVERALL: There are few moments in our lives where we feel most venerabile, and surgery is one of them. Even as a grown man I was nervous. To trust someone to perform surgery is to trust them with your life. I can say that I trust the skilled team at Mercy SDSC with mine, and would again. Thank you for your great work!”
