Wonderful store, wonderful staff. Worked with us for as long as it took to find the right shoe. Gave my daughter and I both running gait evaluations and gave us all the tips / advice we needed to make the right purchase. Thanks Grivet Outdoors in Memphis for excellent service. Newbie runner here – Cameron and his team were very helpful in getting me some running shoes and running shorts, as well as a couple things to help me feel safer running at night. I got a Petzl headlamp, but also a reflective vest to wear over my clothes so I would be more visible to cars driving by. Also picked up a merino wool beanie to cover my ears and some thin gloves to keep my fingers warm when it gets colder out this winter. I hope this new gear helps me meet my running and fitness goals this year.

Great place to get some outdoor clothing and gear. Great fall/winter jacket selection. I’m not a runner, but I casually walk trails, bike ride and fly fish, so I just need warm and durable clothing. I’ll recommend it to some of my climbing buddies too. Picked up a Patagonia Better Sweater for myself and a down jacket for a gift. I’ll be back!

Great staff and great selection of running shoes. They have actual runners working in the store, which means they really know their stuff. They can give you great tips to prevent injuries. The benefits of getting properly fit for shoes are incredible! It’s about so much more than just increasing your time and speed. I’m happy to see Grivet continue to build more stores and get more involved in the Memphis running community.

Great service. I was helped my Cameron and he was easy to understand and friendly. He provided a free gait analysis to teach me about what type of specific running shoe would be best for me. I never felt like he was being too pushy. He just gave me all the information I needed to make my own choice. Since I have knee pain, he recommended a cushioned model. He brought out a Brooks Glycerin, a couple Hoka One One’s, and an On Cloud. Even though I liked the way the On Cloud looked, and was drawn to it initially, it was too narrow and I ended up going with a Clifton 7 in wide. I did not buy the custom insole provided, but I have already recommended it to several people I know who do wear insoles.
