This place was a really cool visit. Parking was easy and shaded. Not to far from entrance. Tickets were cheap as there was a deal going on at the time, so that was good. My husband and I took our son. The park is a nice size for those that don't want to walk for days. The restrooms are awesome. Now for the animals. The otters were hiding. But the dolphins did not disappoint. The walk through of the bird cage was cool. Seeing the fish and stingrays was pretty awesome,as you get to see them up close. The crocs were sun bathing as the turtles were also. Got some really cool shots especially the walk through tunnel. We really enjoyed our trip and will do it again..
Great place to visit on the Coast if you have a couple of hours to kill. It’s a small aquarium but still has some great exhibits. We really enjoyed the otters, dolphins and the aviary. The bugs were out in full force, so wear bug spray if you go in the spring. They have a cafe and gift shop on site. We caught the Otter Chat, which was very informative and got to see the trainers work with the dolphins. The website said there would be two Ambassador appearances today but we were informed that the penguins weren’t there. Disappointed that they seem to only have them there at certain times (maybe the weekends when they do the paid encounters)? Overall, a fun time and would go back.
This was a great place to visit with family. The aquarium was very clean and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. You could see all the animals in the exhibits easily. It did seem a little pricey for entry. I thought there would have been more to see. Overall all though it was a lot of fun to visit at least once.
I spent a wonderful afternoon at the aquarium. I went on a Wednesday in January so it wasn’t too crowded. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and presented a great educational dolphin show.
The tanks are filled with lots of fish, and the big aquarium with the 360° tunnel is nothing short of magical. I highly recommend spending a day here!
Hubs and I took the kiddos in October. It was a great experience!
We were actually shocked at the exhibits that are outside- we were not expecting it. Luckily, it was a warm, sunny day so we enjoyed everything the outside exhibits had to offer. The crocodilian information was a good read and the kids kept taking bets, wondering if the crocodile and alligator were real- they are real! The otters were cute and playful. We missed the dolphin training but enjoyed watching the dolphins swim around and play with each other. The birds kept an eye on us more than we did on them. The nice attendant showed us where they were hiding and provided us with a handout that listed the birds in the area. It was not until we headed out of the bird sanctuary that I realized their were multiple cards with different birds on it. Be sure to look at the multiple cards (and return them!). The gift shop was like any other gift shop- cute gifts to support the museum. Someone found many similar items on a certain shopping app for a lot cheaper. I, on the other hand, enjoy supporting the businesses and causes, so bought a few things from our visit.
We will definitely return.
